What is the MHT CET syllabus?

Exam Pattern of MHT CET 2023
Before breaking-down the MHT CET syllabus, it is important to understand the exam pattern and the base of the question paper-
- It is to be noted that the major questions will be from the curriculum of standard 12th marking 80% of the weightage. The rest 20% of the questions will be from the standard 11th.
- It is also mentioned that there will be no negative marking, hence students should not leave any questions unanswered.
- In order to maintain the quality of the assessment, state cell has also mentioned about the difficulty level of the test. PCM and PCB test question papers will be as competitive as JEE and NEET respectively.

(Note- The question paper will consist multiple choice questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks)
The exam has two groups which are PCB and PCM. PCB has Physics, Chemistry and Biology and PCM has Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Students wanting to get into engineering should opt for PCM and students opting for pharma should opt for PCB. Both the groups will have 200 marks. Breakup of the no. questions with marks is as follows-
No. of questions in Mathematics will be 50. Each correct answer will make you earn 2 marks.
No. of questions in Physics and Chemistry together will be 100. Each correct answer will make you earn 1 mark.
No. of questions in Botany and Zoology collectively will be 100. Each correct answer will make you earn 1 mark.
